Obsinan Ahmed was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. She was 11 years old when she joined PATH, and she is the 4th of 4 children, living with her older sister, 2 older brothers, and grandmother. When Obsinan is at school, she enjoys studying the Afan Oromo language, and at home, she loves running around with her friends. Her grandmother, Momo Sa'ideeq, came into the program at 50 with no former education. She is currently selling chat, a local stimulant leaf that is chewed, to support her family, but after she receives business training from PATH, she hopes to open a small shop and also begin raising livestock.
