Following a comprehensive assessment conducted after the application process, Odyek Micheal was admitted into Otino Waa Children's Village in January 2026. Micheal is a partial orphan whose father tragically died in a road accident, leaving the family without a primary provider. His mother is alive but struggles with alcoholism, which has severely affected her ability to care for her children. As a result, Micheal and his siblings were left in the care of their grandparents, who already have numerous dependents and limited resources to meet the children's basic needs. The family faces significant challenges in providing adequate food, education, and healthcare, leaving Micheal in a highly vulnerable situation. Following assessment, Odyek Micheal was considered for support at Otino Waa, where he could receive consistent care, shelter, and access to education that his current family environment cannot reliably provide.
