Opio Emmanuel was born in 2009. He joined the Path International Community Based Care (CBC) program in 2020.

Opio Emmanuel is from a rural village in Northern Uganda. Emmanuel lives with his mother and 4 siblings. Emmanuel helps his mother by fetching water and helping his older brothers with the cattle. Emmanuel really enjoys going to school. He works very hard because he would like to be a doctor when he grows up. His favorite subjects are Math and English. When he has free time, Emmanuel loves to play Soccer. The family also receives care, encouragement, training opportunities, emergency assistance, medical access, and the knowledge that they are no longer alone.
