Jawar was born in 2017. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Jawar Taha was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 7 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and three siblings. At school, Jawar enjoys learning the Amharic and Afan Oromo languages, and he hopes to be a pilot when he grows up. His mom, Sa'ada Musa, came into the program at 30 years old with no educational background. She currently works as a maid washing clothes to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
