Rahel was born in 2013. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Rahel Endeshew was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 11 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and two siblings. At school, Rahel enjoys learning Math and Science and jumping rope, and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up. Her mom, Yetimwork Mekasha, came into the program at 24 years old with only an elementary school education. She currently works as a chat (local stimulant leaf) seller to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin a better income generating activity.
