Riste Mershia was born in 2013. She joined the Path International Ethiopia Community Based Care Program in 2021.

Riste Mershia was in the first group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2021. She was born in 2013, and she lives with her mother and three siblings. Riste loves playing with building blocks with her friends, and she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She was selected to attend Nafyaad Private School. In addition to educational support, Riste's mother is going to receive business training and seed money to begin her own income generating activity.
