Ruth was born in 2015. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Ruth Wendwosen was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 9 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and two siblings. At school, Ruth enjoys learning math and science, and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up. Her mom, Dinke Beyen, came into the program at 49 years old with only an elementary educational background. She currently struggles to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
