Lidya was born in 2014. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Lidya Worku was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 11 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and two siblings. At school, Lidya enjoys learning math and science, and she loves playing jump rope with her friends. Her mom, Tigist Ayele, came into the program at 30 years old with no educational background. She currently works by selling roasted peanuts to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
