Muaz was born in 2013. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Muaz Yusuf was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 12 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and three siblings. At school, Muaz enjoys learning social studies, and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom, Riyana Ahmed, came into the program at 30 years old with only an elementary school education. She currently works as a maid washing clothes to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
