Samuel was born in 2011. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Samuel Girma was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. He was 10 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his two older sisters and younger brother. Samuel loves studying everything at school, and he hopes to be a scientist when he grows up. His mother, Aster Gizaw, came into the program at 35 years old with an 8th grade education. She currently sells vegetable in the market to support her family, and she is excited to receive business training from PATH in order to improve her business knowledge and ability.
