Sefiya was born in 2015. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Sefiya Ahmedin was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 9 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and three siblings. At school, Sefiya enjoys learning science and Afan Oromo, and she hopes to be a government worker when she grows up. Her mom, Misra Hussein, came into the program at 30 years old with no educational background. She is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
