Shukuri was born in 2016. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Shukuri Aliye was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. He was 7 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother. At school, Shukuri enjoys learning social studies, and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom, Fetima Usman, came into the program at 25 years old with no education. She currently works as a daily laborer to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity selling goats and chickens.
