Sinthia Ibian was born on August 1st, 2010. She is the last born of three. She had been going to a public school before joining CGA Grade One in January 2019 as well as her older sister. Her father died. Her mother does casual jobs at the market that helps support them and she is on daily medication under the government program support. Currently, Sinthia Ibian and her family are temporarily accommodated by a fellow church member because their small house which was made of tins burned. They totally lost everything they had including their books and school uniforms that had been issued to them. The family is still in shock. It is our prayer that God will intervene in their situation and Sinthia and her sister will be happy again. 2019 Update: Sinthia Ibian is only seven months at CGA. Her teacher says that she is cathing up. Her family had just experienced fire burning her house. She and her older siblings were traumatized at the time they were joining CGA. The Lord God has used many different people to minister to her family. They now have another small house and a few pieces of furniture. Her mother found a new church where they all go to and also got a job in a small super market as an attendant. Sinthia is average in class. She has really worked very hard as compared to when she first joined CGA from a public school. She is a very friendly girl and her teacher says that, with the opprtunity she has at CGA , Sinthia will indeed do very well. 2022 Update: This is Sinthia's fourth year at CGA, and she is currently in Grade 4. She performs averagely well in class, and helps her mother with house chores at home. The mother got a new husband, and delivered a baby in late 2021. 2025 Update: Sinthia Ibian is in grade seven. Although she currently faces some challenges in her academics, with encouragement and support she has the potential to improve. Last term, her mother, with the help of church members, managed to build a house far from the school, which will provide the family with a stable place to stay during school holidays. Recently, Sinthia and her family experienced the loss of her maternal grandfather. Despite these challenges, Sinthia continues to grow stronger, and with guidance she can focus on her studies and work toward a brighter future.
