Sirkanaan was born in 2015. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Sirkanaan Abdi was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. She was 8 years old when she joined PATH, and she is the 2nd of 3 children, living with her older brother and younger sister. Her mother, Kimiya Sabo, came into the program at 23 with an 8th grade education. She works as a daily laborer to support her family, but with the business training she will receive from PATH, she hopes to begin selling coffee from a coffee stand.
