Stanley is ten years old, and is the younger brother of Frantzdy, who lives at the shelter with him. When their father passed away after getting hit by a truck during work, his mother did not have a job and was not able to or willing to do what was necessary to provide a safe living environment for her two boys. Stanley’s older brother Frantzdy was mistreated as a child because his mom did not want him, or to have any children for that matter. She was not as cruel to Stanley as she was to Frantzdy, but was still unwilling to do what was necessary to raise and care for her boys.

When Stanley and his brother were not being supported or taken care of properly, their cousin brought them to the shelter where they could be raised in a healthy and safe environment, and receive an education. Both boys are now safe and happy and able to grow up in a loving home.
