Tasilim was born in 2014. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2023.

Tasilim Biyaa was in the third group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2023. She was 7 years old when she joined PATH, and she is the fourth child out of four, living with her three older brothers. Her mother, Amina Najib, came into the program at 35 with a 9th grade education. She currently doesn't work, but once she recieves PATH's business training, she hopes to open a food stand and also sell vegetables.
