Rediet was born in 2011. She joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Rediet Abdi was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. She was 13 years old when she joined PATH, and she lives with her mother and one sibling. At school, Rediet enjoys learning English and Amharic, she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up. Her mom, Workafas Hailu, came into the program at 30 years old with only a high school education. She currently works by selling roasted barley to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
