Vicky Asha was born on August 10, 2016. She joined CGA Grade One in 2026. She lives with her maternal grand-aunt, the aunt’s husband, and their children, about a one-hour walk from CGA. Both her parents are deceased, and she has been raised by relatives. Her grand-aunt is a fishmonger, while the husband is a civil servant. They live in a permanent house in the rural part of Mbita. The household has no running water but harvests rainwater for drinking and cooking, while lake water is used for cleaning. They use solar energy for lighting and firewood, propane gas, and charcoal for cooking. Vicky shares a bed and mattress with other children under a mosquito net.
