Vicky Odhiambo was born on May 4, 2014. He joined CGA nursery class in January 2019. He is the third born of four siblings. His father died and his mother has no income. They live in a very dilapidated room, with no furniture except for a mat on the floor that they all share at night and few sauce pans and few plates as utensils. They get water from the lake a few meters away and use it without treating because they cannot afford to buy treatment. They use firewood for cooking and well-wishers give them food. We trust that Vicky and his sister will do well at CGA. They will be able to get at least to meals per day and this will be great relief to his mother. 2024 Update:  Vicky and his family moved to a better two-roomed house within the neighborhood. Meanwhile, the mother has built a new house at their rural home where the family would be staying whenever they visit their ancestral home. Vicky performs averagely in academics and also participates in sports activities.
