Saladin was born in 2015. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Saladin Mohamed was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 9 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and one sibling. At school, Saladin enjoys studying English and playing soccer, and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom, Sa'ada, came into the program at 27 years old with only high school education. She currently works by selling chat (a local stimulant leaf) to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to expand her business.
