Yeabsera was born in 2017. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Yeabsera Dawit was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 7 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and one sibling. At school, Yeabsera enjoys learning English and playing soccer, and he hopes to be a pilot when he grows up. His mom, Betelhem Adane, came into the program at 24 years old with only an elementary education. She currently works making and selling food at a small stall to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to expand her business to also selling coffee.
