Yohannis was born in 2015. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Yohannis Alemneh was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 10 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and two siblings. At school, Yohannis enjoys learning English and science, and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom, Meskerem Niguse, came into the program at 30 years old with a high school educational background. She currently struggles to bring in a consistent income for her family, but she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity.
