Yusuf was born in 2017. He joined the PATH International Community Based Care Program in 2024.

Yusuf Kedir was in the fourth group of Community Based Care (CBC) students in Ethiopia, joining PATH in 2024. He was 7 years old when he joined PATH, and he lives with his mother and one sibling. At school, Yusuf enjoys learning the Afan Oromo language and running with his friends, and he hopes to be a pilot when he grows up. His mom, Fozia Mohamed, came into the program at 25 years old with only an elementary education. She currently works by washing neighbor's clothing in order to bring in an income for her family, and she is hopeful to receive business training from PATH in order to begin her own income generating activity selling food and beverages at a food stall.
