I know I've been quiet on the adoption front this last while...well, we've been sick (and sick again) and I think we all needed some time to recover after saying good bye to our special, little guy. So many things remind us of him daily, talk of him is mixed into our conversations, planning and praying is taking place. We finally found HIS name- Ethan Levi. (Ethan meaning strong, safe, firm and Levi meaning joined, attached.) Let me tell you- a lot of prayer, thought and discussion went into that! We miss him so much and it does not feel right without him here at home with us. I wonder...Is he eating enough? Does he get tucked in at night? Is he being read to each night, like he so loved while he was here? If he is healthy? The list can go on and on and it will until he is home. This little guy needs a family. He needs someone to love and care for him. To advocate for him so his special needs get the attention and medical care they have been needing for some time now. He needs to come HOME. In order for that to happen- he needs your help. This little guy slipped right in to our family, like he has always belonged. His happy, cheerful self brought us smiles, hugs and kisses all day long. And we miss that dreadfully!!! Our next step is an agency fee of $3150...we currently have $0 towards it. The financial part of this is going to be one of the biggest factors in how soon he gets to come home and to be forever with his family- and we are so thankful that it is going to be us. Right now- we are launching a puzzle fundraiser- every $10 donated puts your name on the back of a puzzle piece ($20- 2 puzzle pieces, etc). The puzzle ( the picture is of all of us together) will then be a gift/memento for him of how God used many people to write his story and bring him to his family.
