I am happy to report that our Home Study is complete - we are now just waiting for the paperwork with our social worker to be completed and then it is the waiting game.

Waiting for what you may wonder. Well, waiting for a birth mother to choose our family for her child. This is the hard part, as it can be long and grueling. It can take anywhere from 2 months to 2 years to have a child placed with us. The national average waiting period is 2 years.

During this waiting we will be applying for grants and raising funds to reduce the cost of adoption. (Cost is the number factor that keeps people from adopting). We also we continue to pray our family and home to welcome in another child of God.

Because of the long wait period we are asking for your help.
How can you help? By doing one or more of the following things:

1) SHARE
Share our story with others - you may know of a mother who has to make the tough decision to place her child up for adoption and we just may be the family she desires for her family.

2) SUPPORT

3) PRAYER
The most important thing you can do is pray.
- Pray for our family and all families who open their hearts and homes to adoption.
- Pray for all mothers (and fathers) who choose life & adoption over death.
- Pray for the Lord to bring comfort and peace to all parties involved. - Pray for the Spirit to guide families together.
