Well I had intended to run 15 miles this past Saturday for my long run... seems I miscalculated the turnaround and ended up running 16.24 miles... noicve surprise to say the least.... I was tired but could have done more, so training is going great so far.... and hey I just ran half a 50K already!the chocolate milk recovery drink after the run was heavenly... I love an activity that the recover...
Training has been going well so far... i finished 14 miles last weekend and will do 11 this saturday... i have been staying right on marathon pace during my long run and feeling good about it... i plan to run the White River Marathon for Kenya in Cotter, AR on Nov 21st as a part of my training... that is just under 4 weeks before the 50k.. thanks for your support and encouragement.
