LLU GHI SIMS & Adventist Health International (AHI): Uganda Medical Mission Trip 

Hi, my name is Amy Quispe! I am currently a fifth quarter nursing student at Loma Linda University.

This June, I have the privilege of spending 15 days in Uganda on a mission trip with SIMS. This will be my fourth mission trip with the school! We will be working closely with staff and physicians from local hospitals and clinics, our multidisciplinary team will provide healthcare education and assessment to the local community in and around Ishaka Adventist Hospital, Jinja Hospital, and Bugema University.

Our aim is to promote wholeness and whole person care by serving the local patients, community members and local schools by providing health education workshops, specialty clinics, general medicine at local hospitals, health assessments, community-based health fairs with local healthcare providers, women/child education programs, and VBS for children.
