The desire to live in Africa began to grow in our hearts throughout college.  We didn't know when or where, but we knew God was preparing us.  

We got married in 2014 and Leah's senior year of college she got the chance to partner with Pure Mission for her public health internship.  Leah lived in Malawi for 3 months at Esther's House helping with health programs and clinics.  She loved it and really wished Tyler could have experienced it with her.

Now we both partnered with Pure Mission and serve at Esther's House as missionaries!

Malawi is a small country in Southeast Africa.  Along with being one of the poorest countries in the world, it is home to an estimated 1 million orphans.  We currently are the Directors at Esther's House and are working to empower the local Malawians in our area to better care for orphans and widows. Esther's House serves orphans and widows in the community through spiritual development, discipleship, daily meals, education classes, medical care and child + widow sponsorships.
