Help Me Bring Hope and Healing to Children in Honduras
This holiday season, I have the opportunity to join SIMS (Students for International Mission Service) on a trip to Honduras, where we will serve at Pan American Health Services (PAHS) a nutritional rehabilitation center for children under 5 years of age located in the mountains of North Central Honduras. For over a decade, SIMS has partnered with PAHS to provide medical and dental clinics, mobile health services to rural villages, public health education, child therapy programs, and most importantly, love, care, and joy for children in need.
While there, I will help provide nutrition support, health education, and care for children, while also joining in a Christmas celebration that will bring light and love during the holidays. This mission is especially meaningful to me because I have a passion for nutrition and believe that caring for children’s health is one of the most powerful ways to change lives. To me, the way to a better planet begins with nurturing the individual body, mind, and spirit. By helping children grow stronger and healthier, we are not only meeting their needs today but also planting seeds of hope for a better tomorrow.
To make this possible, I need to raise $1,200. These funds will go directly toward covering the cost of my trip so I can serve, love, and pour into the children and families of PAHS.
Please consider making a gift to help me go to Honduras! Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to being there in person to share knowledge, compassion, and joy this holidays.
Together, we can make this mission a reality and bring lasting hope to children in Honduras.
