In September 2024 we sent an email outlining the new Laundry Love annual fee of $39 for every laundry love location. For the majority we heard from this was understandable and doable, for others questions were asked and answered, and for a select few this was upsetting. For those who were upset I invited them to schedule a call with me so I could provide more context and answer any of their concerns, none of them responded to this invitation.

Why an annual fee?

For 20+ years everything Laundry Love created has been shared and given for free to groups and churches who sought to become part of the LL mission and community.

It was at this 20 year mark I felt it was time for the LL community to give back to the national mission of Laundry Love. This $39 annual fee would go directly to;

• help financially seed new LL locations
  
• help cover costs associated with the national website mapping platform which helps families and persons who need clean clothes find you,
  
• and lastly, it will help us work with designers to create additional resources and develop additional partnerships that would ultimately serve LL locations.
  

In November we had the Laundry Love board meeting. It was clear during the board meeting that we do not want this $39 annual fee to be divisive or a strain on our LL locations. So, if you can afford the annual fee great, if not just let us know, or maybe you can give more than $39 which we welcome and would be so grateful for. You can pay the $39 fee below.
