Labeled “The City of Orchids,” Moyobamba serves as the capital of Peru’s northeastern San Martin region.  The beautiful settlement of 42,000 people overlooks the Mayo river and serves as a gateway to the northeastern Amazon.  Much of Peru is considered unreached.  Of the country’s 103 people groups, eight of them fall into this category, impacting 153,000 lives.  The majority of Peru’s remaining groups still lack any significant evangelical population.

We will be bringing reading glasses, sharing the story of Jesus with the community, and building relationships with local partners.  As individuals receive Christ, they will be organized into new small groups that serve as the seeds for future churches - multiplying disciples that become multiplying churches, spreading deeper into the Amazon jungle. 

Please pray for the Moyobamba team, the local people we will be working with, and the people we will be sharing the Gospel with.  Please help send me so I can share Jesus with those who have never heard about Him, help establish new churches, and help launch a Gospel movement in the Amazon region.
