Come and share God's love.
Labeled “The City of Orchids,” Moyobamba serves as the capital of Peru’s northeastern San Martin region. The beautiful settlement of 42,000 people overlooks the Mayo river and serves as a gateway to the northeastern Amazon. The city was originally settled in 1540 as a missions base for the Roman Catholic Church, resulting in a mixed population. Surprisingly, over 70% of Moyobamba’s people are caucasian, hailing from all over western Europe.
Despite its culturally Christian roots, much of Peru is considered unreached. Of the country’s 103 people groups, eight of them fall into this category, impacting 153,000 lives. The majority of Peru’s remaining groups still lack any significant evangelical population.
e3 Partners first branched into Moyobamba in March. This is our second expedition to the region and serves as a chance to continue our work from the Spring. Throughout the week, we will share the story of Jesus with the community and build relationships with local partners. As individuals receive Christ, they will be organized into new small groups that serve as the seeds for future churches.
In just one week, you can share Jesus with those who have never heard, establish new churches, and help launch a Gospel movement that outlives your time on this Earth.
Are you ready for the adventure to begin?
