Team Chanje is Running Reebok Ragnar So Cal!

What is it?

My team has 12 awesome people pile into a van and run “relay style” on a 200-ish mile overnight adventure. Sound’s awesome, right?! It IS!! Every runner is given three legs of various length to complete over the duration of the relay. Each leg is somewhere between 3 and 8 miles, However, one lucky team mate will have the honor of running a 12 mile stretch. ( it won't be me!)

Yeah, but WHY?!

Well, aside from just being an awesome adventure with great people, we are running to support the people of Haiti through the Chanje Movement. We are bringing a hope and a future to the children of Haiti through community transformation and revival.

In the last year through the Chanje Movement in Haiti, thousands had continuous access to clean water and received emergency meals, 500 leaders received training, 75 youth received regular primary and secondary school education, five homes were built, businesses were launched and many jobs created. We are helping Haitians be the Heroes, thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers. We are eager to see the growth that continues to take place in 2020 and beyond.

Haiti, like much of the world, is in need of change. We believe that God can bring help and hope to the nations, and that He will do that through the hands and feet of people. Together, we are committed to raising movements of change in the cities, towns and villages of the world.

Would you support me in this cause?  I am setting a goal of $1000. All donations go to Chanje and the people of Haiti.  I first learned about Chanje through my daughter and son in law. Both have traveled to Haiti and have witnessed first hand the need these people live with daily. Chanje was created to help bridge the gap. Homes are built, jobs are created and people are fed through this amazing organization.  My participation in Ragnar is my way of helping and supporting the people of Haiti.
