At the end of May, our adoption was officially official! The "process" is now 100% complete. We are so thankful to welcome this beloved child into our family.

We've matched! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Please pray for the expectant mama, the child she carries, and our little family as we all anticipate the next steps. We are exercising our faith! As Spurgeon said, "Better to be with God in the waves than on the ferryboat!"

Can we just share a little slice of God's kindness with you today? Over the last few weeks, He has allowed us to complete all our home study requirements and get that finalized (we're talking doctors visits, 10 hours of training, a CPR class, background checks, 50+ pages of paperwork, 2 in-home visits with a social worker!), create an adoption profile book about our family for agencies/attorney...

Through your donations and art business, we have raised nearly $4,000 (on and off this site). Thank you all! And as of March 14 we are officially working with Christian Adoption Consultants. It feels like the ball is officially rolling, however slowly! Ha! We look forward to sharing more along the way. Fundraising will continue as we move toward a home study and other expenses.
