After fighting some allergies and sinus junk I was pretty happy to be back in the pool tonight after a two week hiatus.  I always forget just how much I love the pool until I have to take a break like this to get over some sickness.  That first swim back is always the sweetest even when it includes 10 minutes of vertical kick work.  So much fun!

I have made the commitment to donate $1 per mile that I run this week towards my fundraising cause. My workout Sunday was a brick workout which ended with a 2 mile run.  The rest of the week will be lighter as I taper for some trail races this weekend...25K (15.6 miles) and Half Marathon (13.1 miles.)  Won't you join me with a matching donation per mile (roughly 30 miles planned!)
