It has been announced that there are officially 8 cases of the Coronavirus so far in Haiti. With limited medical care and minimal testing, we are not sure of the true number. Our biggest concern at this time is that the border at the Dominican Republic has been closed so all importing of resources is at a hold. There are many restrictions in place including that businesses would remain closed. With businesses closed and no resources coming in, prices are getting higher and supplies are becoming less and less. In an effort to stay ahead of this, we have sent the funds to purchase food for the month of April early. What cost $1 last week now costs $2 and by next week it could become $3. Please stay faithful, stay courageous, and stay generous.
