At this time we have been able to distribute over 3,300 meals to families in the areas that we serve. We are going out daily to provide meals and resources to those we meet. At Second Chance we understand that globally the numbers are inaccurate. We know that in Haiti there are less than 2,000 tests available for the 11.3 million present. The country has 33 confirmed cases of the 257 that have been tested. As of this morning, there has been 3 deaths. It has been announced that there are officially 8 cases of the Coronavirus so far in Haiti. With limited medical care and minimal testing, we are not sure of the true number. Our biggest concern at this time is that the border at the Dominican Republic has been closed so all importing of resources is at a hold.
