With the continuing global expansion of the COVID-19 virus, the Second Chance team is closely monitoring the impact on the health and safety of the most vulnerable. 

We have kicked off a campaign called #Give5Forward in an effort to send meals to families with the most need. This initiative will supplement for the next 30 days. With every $5 donation we will provide 5 meals. We believe that if everyone can make one small act of generosity that it can collectively create a big impact. It may not look or feel good around us but we know that we can do good!

We have also created this Emergency Relief Goal of $20,000 to sustain our families, kids, and our communities in the coming weeks. As we have learned from our years working with those in Haiti, many will be at risk to drop children off in orphanages. Our priority continues to be keeping families together and giving the support they need to not only survive this pandemic, but continue to grow and thrive when it’s over. The funds brought in will allow us to do just that.

Our Haitian staff are staying close to communication, working with local authorities, and preparing for their responses. Please join us in prayer for the people of Haiti and our leadership on the ground as they continue to lead the mission.
