Here's the newest news from us.

-We had our intake meeting with our agency, and got another packet of paperwork (seems like it never ends) off to them. We're waiting on their review of our home study (since it was done by another agency), and then we'll have our profile meeting, which is where we'll get more direction on what we need to build for our public profile (there's a video that I'm not allowed to jazz up with any editing skills). 
-All of our big grant applications were mailed off! For a couple, we're waiting on other people to fill out reference/verification forms, but our work is done - at least on these. There's another few where we have to have a completed profile, so we'll potentially apply to those depending on what we hear back from the initial applications.
-I hosted a very fun Noonday Collection party where 10% of the profits went toward our adoption fund. I love Noonday and their mission, and had been looking forward to the day where I could support their artisans by hosting a show.
-We're going to pause this fundraiser until we hear back from our grants, but we'll continue to do updates here!
